Draft Stopper

It has gotten so cold in my office this winter that I have resorted to making draft stoppers.  I like to use placemats because they are the perfect size and super durable, these ones are woven and really thick.

First I cut them in half.

Then I join them together and cover up the seam with ribbon.  I added other ribbon for decoration.

I fill with beans, close 'em up and I'm done.  Hmm...who knew you could break wind with beans!  My window looks weird because I also put plastic over it to keep out drafts from the top.
